Sustainable Beauty & Weaving
Programs: Intro to Braiding & Weaving, Subscription Weaving Series, Beauty Instructor Training, Trichology Foundations, and Wig Vending Workforce Program.
Skills gained: weaving techniques, extension installation, braiding foundations, client safety & sanitation, and sustainable beauty practices.
Medical Wig Technician & Prosthetic Hair Systems
Programs: Medical Wig Technician Certification, Oncology Wig Room Workforce Training, and Prosthetic Hair Systems Foundations.
Skills gained: cap construction, ventilating, lace work, medical wig fitting, and working in clinical environments.
REQUIRED CORE PROGRAM
Clean • Green • Soulful™ Environmental Literacy & Green Jobs
Programs: Environmental Literacy Instructor Training, Energy Efficiency Technician Training, Sustainability Foundations, and Community Environmental Workforce Readiness.
Skills gained: environmental literacy, green job readiness, energy efficiency basics, and community sustainability practices.
Program Structure
All programs include workforce readiness, hands-on training, instructor-led sessions, attendance tracking, skills assessments, employer referrals, and the Clean • Green • Soulful™ brand foundation.
Enrollment Requirements
Participants must be 16+ (youth programs vary), provide ID, complete an intake form, attend orientation, and commit to attendance and training hours.
Program Locations
Primary Academy Location: 495 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11225. Additional workforce sites include Dumbo, Brooklyn; partner salons and suites; youth agencies; environmental sites; and medical wig rooms.
