CURRICULUM STRUCTURE
10 Months of Structured Training, Fieldwork, and Career Growth
The apprenticeship integrates DME Medical Wig Technician training, beauty instructor and salon services, trichology, environmental literacy, green workforce readiness, community health worker skills, competency assessments, capstone completion, and placement preparation.
Months 1–2: Foundations & Core Skills
Orientation, safety and sanitation, anatomy of hair, scalp and skin, medical wig construction, environmental literacy, sustainability practices, workforce communication, and digital documentation.
Months 3–4: Technical Skill Building
Medical wig fabrication, ventilating, knotting, lace work, salon service techniques, recycling systems, environmental site protocols, community health basics, and service logs.
Months 5–6: Intermediate Competency
Advanced wig systems, fitting and customization, trichology foundations, environmental teaching modules, energy efficiency basics, workforce facilitation, and mid-term evaluation.
Months 7–8: Applied Practice & Fieldwork
Rotations may include salons, suites, youth agencies, dermatology or oncology wig rooms, environmental literacy sites, and sustainability organizations.
Months 9–10: Mastery, Graduation & Transition
Complete capstone work, a full medical wig build and fitting, teaching and facilitation demonstrations, final competency exams, graduation clearance, and employment matching.
GRADUATION + JOB PLACEMENT
From Graduation Clearance to 90-Day Placement Support
Graduates complete all 40 weeks, required fieldwork, competency assessments, capstone work, professionalism and attendance standards, the Clean • Green • Soulful™ Green Class, final portfolio, and service logs before placement matching.

Graduation Clearance
Attendance, professionalism, skill readiness, and capstone review.
STAGE 2
Career Preparation
Resume development, portfolio creation, mock interviews, and workplace communication training.
STAGE 3
Employer Matching
Matching based on skills, professionalism, track selection, and employer needs.
STAGE 4
Interview & Placement
Scheduled interviews, coaching, employer feedback, onboarding, Academy placement logging, and follow-up.
90-Day Follow-Up Support
The Academy checks in at 2 weeks, 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days to support adjustment, employer satisfaction, and retention.

Questions before you begin
Do I need to be licensed to join mentorship? No. Mentorship supports career readiness and planning. It does not grant or replace any professional license.
Do you guarantee apprenticeship placement? No. We help prepare and may connect qualified participants to partner, Workforce1, or earn-as-you-learn opportunities when available.
What will I receive? Participants may receive a pathway plan, mentorship notes, readiness feedback, and a participation/completion letter when applicable — not a license or certification.
